# Flows

Describe an automation in chat, and Qore builds a flow to run it. Test it, publish it, and use it from an agent.

A **flow** is an automation of connected tasks. A trigger starts the flow, and each task passes results onward.

Describe the automation in chat. Qore creates a draft for you to configure, test, and publish.

Flows are project-scoped. A flow is available only in its project.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Flows are in preview.** The experience may change.
{% endhint %}

## Get started

In **Console**, select a project, then select **Flows**. **Create New Flow** reads *Describe the automation. I'll build the flow to run it.* Describe a new automation in **Describe the flow you want to build…**, or select a template chip, such as **Fraud Investigation**, **Loan Approval Flow**, or **KYC Verification Flow**.

**My Flows** lists your flows. Use **Search flows…** to find one by name, and switch between the list and grid layouts. To open a flow, select **•••** on its row, then **Edit**.

You can also create a flow from an agent's **Add Skill to Agent** dialog: **Flows** tab › **+ Create Flow**. See [Build a flow](/ai-workbench-qore/console/flows/build-a-flow.md#create-a-blank-flow-from-an-agent).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.uptiq.ai/ai-workbench-qore/console/flows.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
